Our formal safety program was developed specifically for our employees, as their safety is considered to be the highest priority of company business. We are proud of the fact that safety has become a key component of our culture and has the full support and commitment of the Catamount management team to ensure we create a safe and positive work environment.

Our comprehensive curriculum incorporates several specialized training programs into the overall Catamount safety program to meet or exceed OSHA requirements. Additionally we provide continuous safety training for all operations employees every four weeks, weekly jobsite safety meetings and daily / weekly safety inspections by Superintendents.  And, to ensure we receive an objective assessment of our safety practices, we utilize third party safety inspectors to conduct random jobsite safety inspections every month.

Catamount continues its history of many man hours worked without significant subcontractor accidents resulting in injury.  This has resulted in an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of 0.78, which is far superior to the national average.  This rating is a testament to Catamount’s safety program, training regimen and culture that has evolved over the past 13 years.
